Fire Permits
The Kaikoura District Council is the Rural Fire Authority for the Kaikoura district, and issues fire permits for all land within the district excluding land within 1km of Department of Conservation estate (administered by that Department).

Fire Permit Application FormA permit to light a fire costs $10.00, and can usually be processed within 1 working day. (Click here >>>) for an application form to download. You will need to send this to the Council office with the application fee enclosed. |
