SPARC Rural Travel Fund

Does your sports club or school sports team need travel assistance?

Funding is available for sports clubs and school teams with young people aged 5-19 who require subsidies to assist with transport expenses to local sporting competitions.

Note that funding is not available for travel to regional or national events.

Amount:             $5,000 per annum

Eligibility:            Rural sports clubs and rural school teams with young
                          people aged 5-19 years who require subsidies to
                          assist with transport expenses to local sporting
                          competitions.

Criteria:             School club teams and sport club teams are defined
                         as:
                         “a school club team participating in local sport
                         competition in weekends, that excludes inter school
                         and intra school competitions played during school
                         time”;
                         “a sports club team participating in organised sport
                         competition through club membership outside of
                         school time”.
