Lyell Creek sewer gets underway
Construction has now begun on the rebuild of the Lyell Creek sewer with the first pipes laid in recent weeks. To disrupt traffic as little as possible, trenching and pipe laying will mainly take place in the parking lane on the inland side of Beach Road. This will affect parking.
Work has started with the section of Beach Road between Hawthorne Road and Gillings Lane. Gillings Lane to Mill Road will follow around July.
This is the safest and least disruptive way to get the work done and Council is asking for patience and understanding while work is underway.
Fulton Hogan is the construction contractor. Any concerns, questions, complaints or issues can be directed to 0800 342 48467 (0800 FHCIVILS) or 027 604 9335 (Mon - Fri, 8am- 6pm) or email email@example.com.
