Communications Coordinator - Write stories and news, design collateral and pull together information from Council, partner agencies and community sources, look after our social media and website, plan workshops and events, take photos, make videos and undertake a multitude of other tasks.
Building Control Cadet - Open the way to a rewarding career through this great pathway to becoming a professional Building Control Officer (BCO), responsible for ensuring that buildings are constructed to appropriate standards. Gain skills through both on the job training and enrollment in a formal building control qualification.
Team Leader Community Facilities and Regulation - A varied and interesting role responsible for the effective management of a range of Council community facilities assets and regulatory compliance. This includes parks and reserves, public toilets and maintenance of pensioner cottages and animal control, parking, freedom camping, noise control, building warrants of fitness and other general inspection duties.
Cultural Facilitator - facilitate opportunities for real partnership between Māori and Council. Act as a conduit between Iwi groups and Council. Growing understanding of Te Ao Maori and ensure Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations are met.
Board Directors: Innovative Waste Kaikōura - monitor and manage the performance of a resource recovery centre with one of the best diversion rates in the country.
