Peketa Rural Water Supply

The Peketa Water Supply is used for domestic purposes, and the water is treated using cartridge filtration and UV radiation.
Currently this water supply suffers from contamination from surrounding farmland during periods of heavy rain, and residents were supplied by water tanker for a number of days in July 2010 due to serious flooding which compromised the intake bore.
