Biodiversity Contestable Fund
Kaikoura District Council has funding assistance available annually for biodiversity related projects, which has been set up as a contestable fund. This means that interested parties or individuals can make an application to Council to gain assistance for a biodiversity related project that you may have on the go, or in mind.
The Biodiversity Contestable Fund is awarded annually. A limit of $3,000 (including GST) per application has been set, in order to fund a range of projects.
Applications are open from 1 October to the end of March each year and successful applicants are generally notified in April.
