Draft Annual Plan 2011/2012

The Annual Plan is the financial plan for the Kaikoura District Council for the financial year from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.  It determines how much Council can spend in order to provide services to our community, such as roads, water, sewerage, rubbish, etc.  It also determines how much we will borrow, and how much your rates will be.

The Draft Annual Plan outlines what Council proposes will be in the final Plan.  This is your opportunity to look over what we are proposing, and give us your suggestions.  The Council can then make any changes to the Plan before the final version is released before the end of June.

Submissions close at 4pm on Friday 10th June 2011.  If you want to speak to Council about your submission, a hearing date has been set for Monday 20th June 2011.
