Kerbside Recycling Charge & Rural Recycling Charge

Kerbside Recycling Charges

Properties within the urban area, and the households of Oaro, receive a weekly kerbside collection of recyclable materials.  Previously all properties in the district were paying for, but not necessarily receiving, this service.  A new Kerbside Recycling Charge is now paid by properties which have access to the weekly kerbside recycling pickup service.

Rural Recycling Charges

Similarly, rural and semi-rural properties have access to a weekly collection of recyclables at various convenient pickup sites around the district.  The cost of this recycling pickup service has been applied to these properties as a separate Rural Recycling Charge.

All rateable properties in the district will be rated either a Kerbside Recycling Charge, or a Rural Recycling Charge, but not both.
