The Mayoral Challenge
Hoped to be an annual event as part of BikeWise week, the inaugural Mayoral Challenge cycle ride from Hanmer to Kaikoura was held on Sunday 6 March 2011.
Despite the heavy rain and cold southerlies, 65 riders took up the challenge.
