Flooding Update

If you have evacuated, please do not return home tonight.

We are anticipating floodwaters may recede overnight but conditions will be reassessed in the morning.

Please continue to stay safe, avoid floodwaters, and obey all road closures.

The next planned comms update will be provided from 8.00am tomorrow morning, unless there is any urgent information that needs to be communicated sooner. If you need shelter or a safe place overnight the marae now has capacity to take people in the first instance.
