Draft Long Term Plan - Community Hui

The Council’s Draft Long-Term Plan (LTP) 2021–2031 is now out for public consultation. You can view the Consultation Document here or drop into the Council office or library to take a look.

We have a several community hui planned in town, down at Goose Bay and up at Kēkerengū. These hui are so we can talk with you about what we are planning to do over the next ten years.

We’ll give a short presentation on our key proposals, why we are doing them and how we are going to pay for them. It’s really important that we hear your opinion of our key proposals. We think we’re on the right track, but we don’t know that unless you make a submission, even if you agree with what we are planning to do - let us know. This will help us decide if the proposals will be accepted and included in the work programme of the LTP. 

To be able to make an informed choice you will need to read the Long Term Plan Consultation Document (see links above) where the five priority proposals are discussed in further detail. Click on the link here to make a submission online, print off a hardcopy submission form here or you can drop into the Council offices for a form. Thank you for your input.
