Cemetery
Located on Scarborough Street, Kaikōura's Cemetery is in a peaceful setting, overlooking the township.
Currently Council does not keep it's Cemetery records electronically but if you have an inquiry regarding any genealogical records, locations of memorial headstones etc., please email cemetery@kaikoura.govt.nz, we will be happy to help.
Cemetery Charges
Ashes plot

Note:
- All costs for all plots are inclusive of GST.
- Preparation of plot for the lawn cemetery includes extra depth.
- Fees for children under 15 years old are 60% of the adult fee.
- Increased charges will occur for burials that take place on Sunday's or public holiday's.
