Water Conservation Notice - Kincaid Community
The works are scheduled to commence early morning on Friday, 6 November 2026 and will require the raw water intake to be shut down. During this time, the water treatment plant will be unable to operate.
The repair works are expected to take up to 48 hours, followed by approximately 12 additional hours to restart the treatment process and resume reticulated water supply.
Please conserve your stored water.
During the shutdown, residents are asked to conserve water as much as possible and carefully manage the water available in their private storage tanks.
We particularly ask residents to:
• Minimise all non-essential water use.
• Avoid garden watering and other high-volume water use.
• Check your property for leaks, including leaking taps, toilets, pipes and fittings.
• Regularly monitor your private tank level during the shutdown.
• Avoid any activity that could unnecessarily drain your stored water.
We appreciate the community's cooperation while these important repairs are completed.
We will keep the Kincaid community updated on progress and advise promptly if the works take longer than expected.
