While the heavy rain has eased and floodwaters continue to recede, residents are being urged to stay alert for signs of landslides around their properties and across the district.

Flood-affected farmers are urged to complete a Rural Rapid Damage Assessment survey to help guide recovery.

Floodwaters can be contaminated with bugs that cause disease from ground surface septic tanks and sewerage systems which could make you and your whānau unwell.
