Ocean Ridge Plan Change 6 - Hearing - CLOSED

Pursuant to Clause 5 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, Cargill Station Ltd has prepared a private plan change request to Kaikōura District Council (Council).

After a public notification process, submissions and further submissions were received. Following this, a hearing is now scheduled for the 5th of May.

Next Steps

A Hearing is currently scheduled to take place on 5th May 2026. See ‘Minute of Hearing’ for further details. Following the Hearing Panel’s recommendation, Council will decide whether to reject or approve the Plan Change. Any submitter who is not satisfied with the Council’s decision may then appeal to the Environment Court.
